WHY WE CAN NEVER DIE

I had read it over and over but on this occasion, it made a whole new meaning to me. As I began asking why I haven’t understood it all these while then I realized the difference in my approach to the same information. Reading and meditation are different; in the past, I have severally read the following from 1 Corinthians 15:38-38:

“35 But someone will ask, “How are the dead raised? With what kind of body will they come?” 36 How foolish! What you sow does not come to life unless it dies. 37 When you sow, you do not plant the body that will be, but just a seed, perhaps of wheat or of something else. 38 But God gives it a body as he has determined, and to each kind of seed he gives its own body.”

This time, rather than reading, I meditated on the quoted biblical passage which then made me see why WE CAN NEVER DIE.

The truth is every living thing can die and decay, this is NOT a contradiction to the title of this article and we will get to understand better as we read.

As seen above, there’s a mystery that necessitated the question but there’s a greater mystery that’s worth our reflection, and that’s the mystery of the grain coming back to life. This is only possible because the grain seeds have a life within or right inside that’s masked by the perishing body we all can see; when planted, the seen body decays and the unseen life springs forth more beautifully and productively.

You see, the unseen life of the grain seed needs only certain kind of environment to thrive, and the earth where they are planted provides just that perfect environment.

Now how does these analogy matter to us? Just like the encased life within a grain that lives again when the visible body decays, the human soul encased by the mortal flesh and body, is the life in every human that NEVER DIES.

TWO IMPORTANT QUALITIES OF THE SOUL

The human soul is so volatile but also very powerful. Volatile in that it’s easily fed by your actions and activities; when these inputs are positive, you end up having positive results; the opposite is also true when they are fed with negative inputs. This is why we must be very careful and mindful of the things we do, the words we speak, and the actions we take, as those are the environments that influences the performance of the soul and the results we achieve.

Why is the human soul very powerful? The soul has the ability to communicate with the supernatural forces that operate within our environment same way the life within a grain seed can communicate with the environment where the seed is planted; how you can take advantage of this supernatural interaction for your success, happiness, achievements and health, is entirely covered in a different transformation program.

The affinity of the soul to the supernatural makes it possible for the soul to depart when the physical body becomes inhabitable due to weakness and damage; it’s also the reason “we can never die even when we die”.

Just like the life within the grain that could get destroyed by some kinds of bad environments like fire, flood and even by humans, the human soul can also be influenced by humans, negative supernatural forces and the positive supernatural force (GOD).

HOW NOT TO DIE

Learn to preserve your “real life” by feeding your ONE and ONLY soul rightly today by the words you speak to yourself, the things you feed your eyes with and the good things you meditate on, then will your physical life be so positively influenced to live happily, peacefully and successfully that even if it dies, the soul continues to live supernaturally in hope having made impacts to humanity.

Depression dies naturally when we live positively, how true this statement can be! But fortunately that’s the hidden truth.

In our struggle to survive demands and challenges of life, rarely do we notice that Depression could be thriving subtly at the other end.

The state of our mind is the chief determinant as to how far depression can thrive.

Depression takes advantage of our vulnerability and permeates the subconscious mind thereby aiding the challenges we face to persist.

Besides conditional depressions such as seasonal affective disorder (SAD) mostly affecting young people, and, perinatal syndrome, most of the other types of depression rank high on the index of culprits that easily take advantage of our vulnerable situations.

 

THE MECHANISM OF EMOTION

It’s very important to understand how depression thrives. Emotions play critical role in this unhealthy game.

Daily challenges of work, home, relationship, family, marriage, finance and career, etc.; often trigger emotions.

Emotions could be either positive or negative, but depression always anchor on the negative spectrum.

Negative emotions can be normally felt from time to time depending on prevailing circumstances.

However, trouble begins when it consistently takes the driving seat of our lives. The take over easily occur due to recurrent offensive or hurting circumstances occasioned by external attitude towards us.

How then is it that “depression dies naturally when we live positively?” -Through our emotions!

NEGATIVE AND POSITIVE EMOTIONS

Emotion is an externally influenced internal state of being. As earlier stated, it could be either negative or positive.

Revenge and hatred are produced when negative emotion props up in the mind.

This eventually results to inhibition of endorphins –organic substances produced in the body that’s responsible for feeling well and happy. Endorphins have been scientifically proven to lower stress levels and improving sleep.

When this essential chemical is unconsciously denied the body due to prolonged negative emotions or other physical factors, it then sets the ground for depression to build.

On the other hand, positive emotions are easily triggered by good will, excitement, cooperation, success and genuine love. Contentment and purposeful leaving are other factors associated with positive emotions.

Both positive and negative emotions are situation driven; i.e., they are influenced by the environment and attitude of others toward us.

Depression naturally dies when we can live positively isn’t just another floater in the air. It’s a reality requiring some conscious commitment to actualize.

To make the above subject a reality, we must be mindful of the fact that negative emotions, are very bad visitors that ought not to be welcomed nor trusted.

We must make a determination to speak and stay positive at all times no matter the situation.

Speaking positive words to ourselves has immeasurable value. Whatever we say to ourselves naturally becomes the language that will shape our destinies, happiness and fulfillment, or otherwise.

SOME OTHER WAYS TO LIVE

Anger prone people must endeavor to take a walk away from confrontational challenges. Doing so helps put negative emotions under control thereby minimizing inhibition of endorphins.

A habit to always reschedule negative thoughts when they show up in our minds, allows us  concentration on things that matter. This habit helps a lot to building or  storing up of useful energy.

Exercise remains invaluable to maintaining a good level of endorphins in the body.

Getting strenuous in the name of exercise isn’t necessary; thrice 30-45 minutes (weekly walk) is enough of required time.

Having an ear piece or blue tooth on, with a soft inspirational song or recording play from a mobile device while doing a walking exercise is recommended. Such integration makes the work less stressful, reflective and enjoyable. It’s important you avoid noisy or distracting areas when exercise-walking with listening gadget.

Whatever our response to the prevailing situations capable of altering our emotions might be, as long as actions that trigger the negative mode aren’t considered or kept to mind for too long, we will be unconsciously killing depression thereby living for another time in peace and purpose.

No depressed person is actually “alive” so long as negative emotions sits behind the driving wheel of his or her life.

Impacts of frustration and depression on purpose is what this post addresses. This topic has become so important in view of the rising profile of depression either due to, or lack of misguided purpose.

LIVING ON THE EDGE

Depression is dangerous because victims keep living on the edge most of the time. Such people have lost the zeal and motivation to keep up let alone being happy;  the world has become so hazy to them.

Failed efforts at getting better which leaves no hope in sight, has led them to grumble inwardly wishing the agony could just or magically go away forever but waking up next day with same problems, i.e., if ever slept, they get drifted the more into hopelessness and perplexity.

Understanding the circumstances that can induce or predispose to depression is very invaluable to finding a solution. Our environment is filled with tons of such ugly predisposing circumstances including unhappy marriages and jobs that drain energy with little or no time for self.

 

OTHER FACTORS

Other factors include twisted relationships, academic pressure, peer pressure, failed expectations, divorce, separations, loss of a loved one, desire to conform with the society, terrible financial status as well as mistakes due to less fancied choices etc.

Whatever the reason for depression, there’s always a helpful but often neglected common ground for transformation. The few that discover and connect to this ground usually become living testimonies of transformation.

PURPOSELESSNESS

Here, we address some of the impacts of purpose on frustration and depression. Purposeless living is one of the most common triggers to frustration leading to depression among adults and young adults in particular.

You see, no one here is alive by accident or mistake, we are all creatures of purpose. This knowledge is one of the greatest lessons every parent must bequeath their children or wards. If today’s parents can discover the purpose and guide their children along positive inclinations and our generation becomes adequately sensitized, then depression index can reduce by over 40% in the next 5-10 years.

While it’s important to condition the mind of the upcoming generation, today’s generation struggling with depression still have a choice to make -a choice to either continue on that track or get reconnected to the source that’s capable of providing basic guides to win depression.

There’s always an unseen but prolonged disconnect when a person lacking in purpose eventually gets into depression. Unconsciously, the human mind is in constant search for fulfillment but can ignorantly over look the engine room or data base where the answers to our quests are stored up; little wonder the bible says “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge:..” Hosea 4:6.

 

UNDERSTANDING PURPOSE

It’s important to realize that purpose is not what you make up or build, it doesn’t depend on you rather it’s what you discover. This means that purpose is already crafted for everyone even before arrival to earth. But unfortunately most people don’t get to discover this truth which make them live in disconnect from the very source of purpose.

Making impact or providing value to humanity, satisfaction and happiness are indications of purposeful living; to live otherwise amounts to living in frustration and depression.

Those who don’t know their purpose tend to become envious, and fight not just others but themselves too, an attitude that can gradually get them deep into anxiety, frustration and eventual depression.

Don’t forget that having all the money isn’t a measure of purposefulness and neither is it a guarantee for happiness nor fulfillment, and that explains why someone can have all the money plus what it can buy but still feel like ending his or her life.

We don’t live for nothing, the value of life is proportionate to its purpose of existence. When we discover and are providing such value, we don’t ask to be rewarded because no one can reward us enough.
